Nonno Joe breezed on Thursday working 3 furlongs on the dirt in 39.95 over the Belmont Park Training Track. That work was 21 of 22 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Rudy Rodriguez after the breeze. He said, "We worked him easy this morning and he went well. He's coming along."
Rudy will breeze Nonno Joe on a 7-day breeze schedule preparing him for his debut in New York.
