Nonno Joe breezed on Wednesday working 4 furlongs from the gate on the dirt in 47.48 over the Belmont Park Training Track. That work was 1 of 39 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Rudy Rodriguez after the breeze. He said, "He worked great this morning. I worked him from the gate in company with two other horses. He looked phenomenal. He'll run at Saratoga.
Rudy will breeze Nonno Joe on a 7-day breeze schedule preparing him for his debut which should be in July at Saratoga.
