Antonio of Venice breezed on Saturday working 4 furlongs on the dirt in 48.00 at Belmont Park Training Track. That work was 4 of 164 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Rudy Rodriguez after the breeze. He said, "He worked lights out this morning.
I worked him in company with Bank Frenzy, who's a multiple stakes winning older horse. Antonio of Venice kicked his butt. He opened up 5 lengths after the gallop out. He's doing great."
Rudy will breeze Antonio of Venice on a 7-day breeze schedule preparing him for his next race which could be the Allowance N1X going 6 furlongs at Aqueduct on February 15.
