Rebel Empire breezed on Saturday working 4 furlongs on the dirt in 47.20 at Tampa Bay Downs. That work was the bullet of 54 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Jeff Englehart after the breeze. He said, "He worked very well today. He probably went faster than he needed to go. But he's doing great. I'm pointing him to a race in mid-January."
Jeff will breeze Rebel Empire on a 7-day breeze schedule preparing him for his next race which could be the $5,000 Claiming B going 6 1/2 furlongs at Tampa Bay Downs on January 16.
