Nonno Joe breezed on Saturday working 4 furlongs on the dirt in 50.25 over the Belmont Park Training Track. That work was 148 of 223 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Rudy Rodriguez after the breeze. He said, "He breezed well. He's ready to go for a turf race."
Rudy will keep Nonno Joe fresh as he looks for the appropriate race for Nonno Joe to run next.
