El Orejon breezed on Sunday working 4 furlongs on the dirt in 50.58 at Gulfstream Park. That work was 26 of 33 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Steve Klesaris after the breeze. Steve said, "He worked well. He's sitting on a race but it has not filled. I'm going to Plan-B and I'm pointing him to the Allowance instead."
Steve will breeze El Orejon on a 7-day breeze schedule preparing him for him next race which could be the Allowance N1X going 7 furlongs at Gulfstream Park on August 15.
