Azure Lady breezed on Sunday working 4 furlongs from the gate on the dirt in 49.22 at Gulfstream Park. That work was 6 of 31 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Steve Klesaris after the breeze. He said, "She worked very nicely this morning. She's still a little slow from the gate so she's going to need a little more work there. I'll pop her out of the gate a couple of times and possibly breeze her one more time. Beside that, she's very close. She should be ready to go sometime in June."
Steve will prepare Azure Lady for her debut which should be sometime in June at Gulfstream Park.
