Rebel Empire breezed on Wednesday working 4 furlongs on the dirt in 48.20 at Finger Lakes. That work was 2 of 32 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Jeff Englehart after the breeze. He said, "He worked very nicely this morning. He went by himself and put up a very nice time. He's ready for his race next week."
Rebel Empire is entered to the $11,000 Claiming N1Y going 6 furlongs at Finger Lakes on September 30.
